Liza [LIJA] (b. Indonesia, 1995) trained as a sculptor in Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, expresses her ideas about shared human emotions through sculptures, installations, writings and textile arts. Her interests lays in religious masochism, postcolonialism, Christian and Catholic rituals, the plasticity of memory, personal narrative, and archival.

Liza is the recipient of Woon Tai Jee Art Prize 2017. Her recent projects include co-curating and exhibiting in ORTHODOX by TheRightBelief for Singapore Art Week 2019, curating and managing ‘Conversations on Lack and Excess’ a two-city show featuring artists from Singapore and Bandung at Gajah Gallery Yogyakarta, 2018, as well as co-curating ‘The Dung Beetle Show’ by The Dung Beetle Project at Chan+Hori Contemporary past December. She also participated in the ‘Young Talent Programme 2017’ held by Affordable Art Fair, and ‘Dolomites 27th Snow Sculpture Festival’ in San Candido and San Vigilio, Italy in 2017.
